Rules for White Elephant Gift Exchange:
Don’t forget to bring a gift. In order to get a gift, you must bring a gift. If you are bringing a guest, bring an extra gift so they can share in the fun as well. Gifts can represent your business, be fun or be special, the choice is yours.
We will award the nonprofit and business of the year as well.
We ran out of time last month for our Business Spotlight so it will carry over to our December meeting. John Idol from Tempo Forms will tell us about what his business does and his ideal customer.
We hope to see you there! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from the current NKBPA Board Members!
You are a vital spoke in the wheel that makes up the North Knoxville Business and Professional Association, in order for the group to continue we need leaders willing to drive us forward. As members roll off the board or as it sometimes happens, are unable to serve, we have new board seats to fill. Serving on a board is a wonderful way to support North Knoxville Businesses and the community we care about. But it also can be a powerful way to build or expand your own skills and expertise.
Individuals who serve on a board have the opportunity to speak into the community they serve, develop and grow as leaders and cultivate relationships with peers, professionals, leaders, and to become community thought leaders. Consider joining the North Knoxville Business and Professional Board today, we need you, and it’s a great way to invest in the growth of our community. Please submit your questions or board recommendations to George Bove no later than November 30.
One of the membership’s favorite gatherings is this month and it is an opportunity to be Santa for a high school student. No, you don’t have to don the suit, high school kids wouldn’t be seen near Santa’s shack and that big red suit, but you can give to help someone who might not get to experience the joy of the season. Don’t miss this meeting at 7:45am on November 10th at Fulton High. We will meet in the Library.
Our business spotlight will be John Idol with Tempo Forms. Contact John at 281-8663 or 254-8663, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
No tricks just treats, as we roll into October. This month we are meeting at The Boys and Girls Club just off Caswell Ave (957 Irwin Street, Knoxville, TN 37917). This location is a treat, if you are familiar with the area, or if you pull up Google maps the photo you may see is different than it looks today. The old Caswell club, as the locals call it, has gone through a few changes. Come experience first hand what this club is doing in our community.
7:45 on Friday, October 13
Our program and business spotlight will be announced soon.
