Hello NKBPA, it is that time of year when we gather for a bit of business and some holiday fun.

It’s the Christmas season and there is good cheer to be had by all! This month we install the new board members for 2018, and we have time for fun!

Join us at 7:45 am for our December meeting, we will have our Annual White Elephant Gift Exchange and Election of New Officers at the O’Connor Senior Center – 611 Winona St, Knoxville, TN 37917.

Rules for White Elephant Gift Exchange:
Don’t forget to bring a gift. In order to get a gift, you must bring a gift. If you are bringing a guest, bring an extra gift so they can share in the fun as well. Gifts can represent your business, be fun or be special, the choice is yours.

We will award the nonprofit and business of the year as well.

We ran out of time last month for our Business Spotlight so it will carry over to our December meeting. John Idol from Tempo Forms will tell us about what his business does and his ideal customer.

We hope to see you there! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from the current NKBPA Board Members!

The NKBPA Needs You

You are a vital spoke in the wheel that makes up the North Knoxville Business and Professional Association, in order for the group to continue we need leaders willing to drive us forward. As members roll off the board or as it sometimes happens, are unable to serve, we have new board seats to fill. Serving on a board is a wonderful way to support North Knoxville Businesses and the community we care about. But it also can be a powerful way to build or expand your own skills and expertise.

Individuals who serve on a board have the opportunity to speak into the community they serve, develop and grow as leaders and cultivate relationships with peers, professionals, leaders, and to become community thought leaders. Consider joining the North Knoxville Business and Professional Board today, we need you, and it’s a great way to invest in the growth of our community. Please submit your questions or board recommendations to George Bove no later than November 30.
